Fishing near Port Klang - 18.8.2013

We all know that life could be boring and tiring if we do the same thing all the time. Especially when your golf games are not showing any improvements. So to recharge our body and soul, we have decided to go fishing near Port Klang on Sunday, 18th Aug in Gary's fishing boat. After making arrangement with our fishing sifu and Captain, Mr Francs Wan; we left home as early as 6am. For Alex and KS Lim, this is their first trip fishing out at sea, so certain anxiety is expected. We bought baits from the Port Klang market, had a full breakfast at the mamak stall, then we were all eager to sail off the boat from Port Klang Yacht Club before 8.00am.

The weather was fantastic throughout the day...the sun hiding behind the cloud and the constant flow of cool breeze was so refreshing. By the end of the day, I am sure all those poluted air collected from living in  the city, would have been flushed out from our lungs. Is that why they say fishing is a healthy sport?

We were fishing around Pulau Ketam and the river channels around the areas. However, the tide were relatively fast on that day and the water not very conducive for fishing, as such we did not get much action except a few small fishes. But still it was a good break!
