KRTU GanG Competition Results - Q2 2013

Sawanie Restaurant is one of the favourite place where some of our members would go for the Pan Mee and its highly recommended local coffee after golf. Occasionally, the group will pre-order a dish, Chicken in Chinese wine; which is cooked by the restaurant owner specially for us. This dish is strongly recommended by our member, Mr Kee who happened to be a long time friend of the owner, a Thai lady by the name of Khun Sawanee. It is one of the best dish we can ever find. One day, it just crossed our mind that why not we had our championship dinner over here? Although this restaurant does not sell food like the tai chou, Khun Sawanee had graciously agreed to prepare a few Thai dishes for our Quarterly gathering on Fri 21 June 2013.

In the absence of our Captain Gan, who has not been able to play golf for quite some time due to other personal commitments, our appreciation goes to Alex and Mike for organising this event.

Since a number of players did not submit enough score cards for our final tabulation, we have decided to award prizes to the top 7 placings only.

Although it has been decided during the dinner that effective July 2013, we will stopped the monthly collections, I shall continue to record the scores for as long as I have received the score cards. The committee shall decide later if the competition will go on.
