KRTU GanG Competition Results - Q1 2013

 I heard everyone had a good time during our dinner cum announcement of our competition results #2 last week although I was in SG then.
My appreciation to John, who has recorded the event in writing and Alex has the photos to prove it.

On the 1-3-13, we had our First Quarter Golf Dinner and the event was held in Grand Imperial Restaurant- USJ 19 City Mall.
This venue was picked mainly it has the facility such as room big enough to accommodate 20 pax with excellent karaoke system and plus the set menu arranged by the restaurant.
In evening,by 7.30pm most of the members have arrived and dinner was served slightly before 8.00pm. During the course of the dinner wine and brandy were served by their staff ( pretty girl from China and guy from Bangladesh). Overall the food was okay except that the dishes came out too fast and we lodged a complaint with the Supervisor. Half way through the dinner, we had the prize presentation based on the results tabulated by Mr. CP Lee,our Tournament Director. Since our Capt.G was not able to join the celebration, we invited our Vice Captain, Alex Geok to give away the prizes. A total of 8 main prizes and 13 consolation prizes ( appearance fee) were given out for the evening and lastly,as a gesture of appreciation we thanked our members for contributing all the hard liquor and a big Thank you to Mr.SHKhoo who has graciously sponsored RM500 towards the dinner. Immediately after the prize giving, we were entertained by our very talented SS2 Idol(Siew)and follow by the evergreen Puchong Idol(Alex) accompanied by a few back up singers.
It was a fun filled night with all the shouting & Yum Seng and all the wonderful songs to serenade us.
Members are now looking forward to our next dinner probably in 3 months time and hopefully we can secure new sponsorship.

Total expenses for the dinner and including cash prizes = RM2437.00
