The following intro was contributed by Woon, who has also done an excellent job to arrange the games, including setup venues for breakfast and lunch, so we could just go and enjoy our games together. "Every year I have always looked forward to the puasa period. The golf promotional rates by various clubs in this period have always made golfing cheaper than normal rates every puasa month. Indeed, paying less than RM100 per golf round is definitely value for money instead of paying more than RM100 per round in normal day on well kept courses.
2025 is no different when Ramadan golf packages made their return. Yes again, I enjoyed several value-for-money golf games this year.
But there is a difference in 2025. This year, I played with the same golfers in my flight. Always the same four gentlemen in five games altogether. In the past, I had played with many different people of different ages and gender in my flights.
We sure have had our fun together, golfing and having meals before and after the games. We enjoyed the jokes and ribbing of each other esp during the games.
All four of us are seniors, with the youngest in his late 50s and the most senior in his 70s. Yes, we are all old men.
Yes in conclusion, George Bernard Shaw was so right to say:
“We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.”

Our pleasant surprises when we played at Berjaya Hill! We were greeted by 3 unexpected “hosts” who lead us to our buggies or maybe they wanted to be our caddies or hinting for tips :):):)?? Anyway, I think it's our lucky day.
